The Schools Division Office of Quezon City headed by Dr. Jenilyn Rose B. Corpuz, CESO VI, with the supervision of ASDS Engr. Marc Voltaire A. Padilla together with the Division Information Technology Officer I, Mrs. Maria Cristina N. Marquez conducted a three day webinar series on Digital UpSkilling- Microsoft Teams Walkthrough.
The said webinars were conducted last August 21, 27, and 28 at 9:00 am-11:00 am streamed via the FB Page of the SDO Quezon City Advocacies. This is in response to a more productive online learning platform that we can use in time for the opening of classes. Each day was focused on three different perspectives: Day 1, Supervisors and School Heads; Day 2, Teachers and Day 3, parents and students.
The webinars were conducted to equip the Public and Private Supervisor, School Heads, Teachers, Parents and Students on the use of the Microsoft Teams to enhance their digital management and ICT skills to level up their technology and multimedia in teaching and learning. It would also helped them maximize the use of MS Teams to create collaborative classrooms, connect in the school community, and communicate with school staff, faculty and students.
The topics on the webinars included system requirements, setting up your virtual class, hosting and managing a class meeting, using channel posts and chatting, working collaboratively using files, forms, and Teams as LMS. The topics were discussed by resource speakers both from Public and Private Schools namely: Mr. James Phillip L. del Rosario from SDO Caloocan, Mrs. Maria Angelica B. Cahilig from Judge Juan Luna High School, Mrs. Kristime G. Cano from San Francisco High School, and Mr. Frederick C. Macapulay from Saint Jude Catholic School. The speakers shared their knowledge and experiences effectively.
Truly we can say that the webinar series turned out to be a successful one with the help of the technical working group headed by Mrs. Maria Cristina N. Marquez as project director. Over-all Chairpersons for Day 1 to 3 namely: Mrs. Ma. Andrea T. Manahan, Mrs. Rizalina Peralta, and Mrs. Angelica B. Cahilig and other students of Pacific Intercontinental College under the Masters of Arts in Education major in Computer Education.
