The 2025 Palarong Panrehiyon celebrated sports excellence, bringing together the best student-athletes of the National Capital Region to Makati Coliseum, featuring inspiring performances and fierce competition.
Quezon City's contingent of 541 players, 84 coaches, and 19 assistants demonstrated strong will in the competition. Their hard work paid off in the form of top finishes, including Champion at the elementary level, 2nd Runner-up at the secondary level, and third overall in the tally. These victories are a testament to their rigorous training and good motivation from coaches and supporters.
The success of the Quezon City team would not have been possible without the support of coaches, school officials, parents, and the local government. Their guidance and encouragement were instrumental to the success of the athletes.
As the curtains close on this year’s Palarong Pangrehiyont, the athletes carry with them lessons of resilience and teamwork, ready to take on new challenges on the national stage.

SDO-QC celebrated the opening of the newly renovated Wellness Centre for Teachers and Employees on November 5, 2024, marking a major turning point in our dedication to putting our committed employees' health and wellbeing first. This renovated facility offers a warm, restorative area where teachers and staff may prioritize their health, fostering a supportive atmosphere that helps them fulfill their vital responsibilities.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Schools Division Superintendent Ms. Carleen S. Sedilla, CESO V, in collaboration with Ms. Connie S. Angeles, Executive Director for Health and Medical Programs at SM Foundation, whose invaluable support enabled this wellness initiative to be realized.

We are excited to see the positive impact this center will have on our team, fostering individual well-being and contributing to the continued success of our institution.

Today, SDS Carleen S. Sedilla and SDO officials paid tribute to our nation’s history by laying a wreath in remembrance of the 128th anniversary of the Cry of Pugad Lawin.

Mayor Joy Belmonte and National Historical Commission of the Philippines Chairman Regalado Jose Jr. also took part in this momentous occasion by inaugurating the city's redevelopment plan for the Pugad Lawin Shrine—an initiative aimed at preserving and enriching our cultural heritage.

Adding to the day's significance, students from SDO QC showcased their talents with a special performance, celebrating the bravery and spirit of our forefathers.

The Quezon City Government and  Schools Division Office- QC, proudly honors the 146th birth anniversary of one of our nation’s greatest leaders, President Manuel L. Quezon, Ama ng Wikang Pambansa. 

In a ceremony steeped in reverence and patriotism, a wreath-laying event was held at the Quezon City Memorial Circle. Prominent figures including Mayor Joy Belmonte, Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, SDS Carleen S. Sedilla, and officials from SDO Quezon City led the ceremony. Their presence underscored the significance of this day as they paid tribute to the man whose vision shaped the future of our national identity.

President Quezon's commitment to “Wikang Pambansa” and his enduring legacy as a champion of national unity remains a guiding force for us all. His leadership not only laid the foundation for the Filipino identity but also inspired generations to embrace and celebrate our rich cultural heritage.
